NASA ATM-X Urban Air Mobility (UAM) Research Workshop #2
April 22, 2020
The Air Traffic Management Exploration (ATM-X) Project’s UAM sub-project research team hosted a virtual workshop March 31-April 2, 2020. The objective of the workshop was to discuss UAM research in the context of ongoing work related to the development of a UAM concept of operations, National Campaign, and ATM-X Phase 2 planning. Participants from Ames, Langley, and Glenn Research Centers included UAM Research Principal Investigators, their teams and collaborators, UAM sub-project management, as well as ATM-X project management and Aviation Systems Division line management. Through technical discussions, the group developed consensus on cross-cutting assumptions and additional input required to complete FY20 research and to coordinate results of the research being conducted across 12 threads.
