Dr. Heather Arneson and her co-authors received the 2018 Best Paper in Code AF Award

Dr. Heather Arneson and her co-authors received the 2018 Best Paper in the Aviation Systems Division (Code AF) award, for their work titled, “Using an Automated Air Traffic Simulation Capability for a Parametric Study in Traffic Flow Management.” She presented her paper at a Centerwide seminar at Ames Research Center on May 1, 2019. The AF Best Paper Award was selected by a panel of AF supervisors and the Office of the Chief Scientist. This work was first presented at the AIAA Aviation Technnology, Integration, and Operations Conference in Atlanta, Georgia in June 2018. The AFS (SimLabs) shop designed the Best Paper trophy.
