ATD-3 Air/Ground Integration meeting at NASA Langley Research Center
July 20, 2017
The Airspace Technology Demonstration-3 (ATD-3) air/ground integration effort, now known as Multi-agent Air/Ground Integrated Coordination (MAAGIC), held a meeting at NASA Langley Research Center, July 11-13, 2017. Although the ground-based and airborne systems associated with air/ground integration have been in development at NASA Ames and Langley Research Centers for several years, an integrated concept of operations (ConOps) did not exist. The ATD-3 team has been working on this ConOps for several months and this meeting enabled the ground and airborne system technical leads and engineers, system engineers, and Project personnel to discuss and finalize the MAAGIC concept. A schedule for system level requirements and software development, along with tool deployment, was developed at the meeting. Once the ConOps document is finalized, a visit to the airline partner will be held to convey NASA's vision of the MAAGIC ConOps, anticipated in August 2017. (POC: Kapil Sheth)
