Demo of Drone Traffic Management Technology
June 9, 2017

On May 15, NASA began a three-week national campaign to further test and refine Unmanned Aircraft Systems Traffic Management (UTM) technologies. The campaign, known as Technology Capability Level 2, focuses on flying small, remotely-operated aircraft, or drones, beyond the pilot’s line of sight in sparsely populated areas to demonstrate, evaluate and refine functional designs and UTM technology prototypes.
