UTM Test Flights
October 27, 2016

First tests of NASA's Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM) research platform were held at Reno-Stead Airport in Reno, Nevada. During the tests, drones flew beyond the line-of-sight of their operators in order to test the planning, tracking, and alerting capabilities of NASA's UTM platform. Members of the media were invited to watch. Here are links to some national and local coverage of the event.
