ATD-1/REACT simulations began today at NASA Ames Research Center in the Aviation Systems Division's Air Traffic Control Simulation Lab. The simulation includes FAA and NATCA participants and will study the effects of integrating new Area Navigation/Required Navigation Performance (RNAV/RNP)-enabling technologies into the Terminal Area Precision Scheduling and Spacing (TAPSS) System.
ATM Technology Demonstration-1 (ATD-1) will showcase an integrated set of NextGen technologies that provide an efficient arrival solution for managing aircraft beginning from just prior to top-of-descent and continuing down to the runway. Learn more about ATD-1 by clicking here.
