Dr. Kee Palopo is an air traffic management researcher at NASA Ames Research Center in the Systems Modeling and Optimization Branch. He joined the University Affiliated Research Center in 2006 as a software developer/researcher prior to becoming a NASA civil servant in 2007. Prior to that he was a software developer for the investment banking industry. He currently serves as a System and Portfolio Analysis technical co-lead at Ames and Airspace Concept Evaluation System simulation tool lead. His current research focus is in benefits assessment of integrated arrival, departure, and surface area. He graduated from the University of Kansas with an MBA and a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering. Other than work, he enjoys photography.
