BIOGRAPHY
Andres Garcia Leyva

Andres Garcia Leyva is a Mechanical Engineer at the Vertical Motion Simulator (VMS) at NASA Ames Research Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University in 2016 and earned his master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Jose State University in 2020.

Andres began his NASA career as a Pathways student at NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center. Upon obtaining his master's degree, he worked on the AQUIFER project, Soft Support System for X-57, and the HEATher Project as a Pathways student. Andres became a civil servant at NASA Ames Research Center in 2020, working on machine design for the Vertical Motion Simulator.
