	+ Home Search Aviation Systems		2016 NASA Honor Awards The honorees received their awards at a special ceremony on July 26, 2016 at Ames Research Center, presented by Dr. Eugene Tu, Ames Center Director Scott E. Reardon received an Early Career Achievement Medal for exceptional and groundbreaking contributions to the science of motion flight simulation, directly benefitting NASA Aeronautics research and the entire simulation community. Confesor Santiago received an Exceptional Achievement Medal for exceptional leadership in the national effort to safely integrate unmanned aircraft into routine civil airspace operations. Kevin E. Witzberger received an Exceptional Achievement Medal for exemplary planning and execution of the Terminal Sequencing and Spacing Operational Integration Assessment. The Operational Integration Assessment (OIA) Team received a group achievement award for designing, developing, and conducting a complex human-in-the-loop simulation to test NASA's Terminal Sequencing and Spacing technology in an operational environment. The UAV Multicopter Wind Tunnel Test Team received a group achievement award for planning, conducting, and reporting the first aeroperformance and acoustics wind tunnel test of an emerging and exciting class of small unmanned aerial vehicles. The UTM Build One Software Team received a group achievement award for exceptional technology development that significantly contributes to the creation of a new nationwide air traffic management system for small unmanned vehicles. The UTM Convention Planning Team received a group achievement award for exceptional planning of the UTM Convention at Ames Research Center, July 28-30, 2015 with 1000 attendees to explore the challenges of managing Unmanned Aerial Systems.
