NASA Honor Award 2012 medal winners, Shawn Engelland, Ron Lehmer, and Michelle Eshow
Shawn A. Engelland received an Exceptional Service Medal “for exceptional management of the NASA North Texas Field Site that supports critical NASA research and that has been recognized as a national facility critical to NextGen.”
Ronald D. Lehmer received an Outstanding Public Leadership Medal “for leading a team that successfully integrated a Boeing 737 aircraft model with the Advanced Concepts Flight Simulator and enhancing its capability to support NASA programs.”
Michelle M. Eshow received an Exceptional Achievement Medal “for exceptional achievement of the development of an air traffic information database that facilitates and strengthens the quality of Air Traffic Management research at NASA.”
Gilena Monroe accepts the Equal Employment Opportunity Award on behalf of Aisha Bowe.
Aisha R. Bowe received an Equal Employment Opportunity Medal “for exceptional leadership in bringing opportunity to MESA youth and diversity to NASA and to our next generation of scientists and engineers.”

The Boeing 737-800W Aircraft Model Integration Team received a group achievement award “for successfully integrating a high-fidelity Boeing 737-800W aircraft model with the Advanced Concepts Flight Simulator in support of NextGen research objectives.”
