NASA FutureFlight Central COURSE Project Team
The NASA FutureFlight Central COURSE Project Team received the 2006 NASA Honor Award for Group Achievement “for significant contributions to the capacity and safety of the National Airspace System by conducting real-time simulations of the Chicago O'Hare Modernization Plan for evaluating tower and surface operations.” Team members included representatives from Ames Research Center, FAA, SAIC, Flight Research Associates, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

System Level Integrated Concept (SLIC) Development Team
The System Level Integrated Concept (SLIC) Development Team received a NASA Honor Award for Group Achievement “for successful defining and developing revolutionary concepts to enable the desired growth for travel in the National Airspace System.”
Other recipients of 2006 NASA Honor Awards included Steven D. Beard (Exceptional Achievement Medal), Thomas J. Davis (Exceptional Service Medal), and Russell A. Paielli (Exceptional Engineering Achievement Medal)
