NASA FutureFlight Central Team
The NASA FutureFlight Central Team received a 2004 NASA Honor Award for Group Achievement "for exceptional achievement in creating a high-fidelity simulation environment for Space Shuttle Orbiter landing operations with the ground support vehicle convoy." Team members included representatives from Ames Research Center, Kennedy Space Center, Langley Research Center, Northrop Grumman Information Technology, Allied Aerospace, Bionetics (Kennedy Space Center), DOD/U.S. Air Force, and San Jose State University.

The Airspace Concept Evaluation System (ACES) Development Group and the Virtual Airspace Simulation Technologies Real Time (VAST-RT) Development Team were also awarded NASA Honor Awards for Group Achievement. Dallas G. Denery and Harry N. Swenson were also both awarded medals for Outstanding Leadership.
