| Turning Goals Into Reality (TGIR) 2001 The Future ATM Concepts Evaluation Tool (FACET) Team, which was led by Ames, received the FY00 TGIR award in the Increase Capacity Objective for development of a tool that will provide the basis for "improving traffic throughput and litigating air traffic delays during periods of bad weather and traffic congestion." + Watch the Announcement (See Objective 4)  The Future Air Traffic Management Concepts Evaluation Tool (FACET) is used to model the flow of air traffic across the U.S. A snapshot of all the flights over the U.S. at a given time is depicted. + Back to Top |
