The Visitor Badging Office is located at Building 26, which is just at the Main Gate. As you approach the Main Gate, you should be in the right-hand lane. The guard will direct you into the parking lot immediately adjacent to the gate. Please be sure to allow 15-20 minutes for processing.
You will need to provide the following:
- Valid picture identification (e.g., driver's license).
- International visitors will need valid picture identification, a passport, and a visa.
- If you plan to drive a car on base, you will need a valid driver's license and the car information (color, make, registration, and the license plate number). International visitors must be escorted to be able to drive on base.
Once you have a visitor badge, approach the main gate and show the guard your visitor badge and valid picture identification for entry into NASA Ames Research Center.
