EDA Vertical Advisories

This diagram shows a side view of an aircraft. A solid line, representing
the nominal descent profile, extends from the aircraft down to the
meter fix.

A dotted line, consisting of three segments, represents EDA's suggested
descent profile. The first segment extends horizontally from the
aircraft to the Top of Descent (TOD) point. The second segment extends
down from the TOD to a second point. This segment is labelled,
"Descent Mach." The final segment extends from the second point
to the Meter Fix. This segment is labelled, "Descent CAS."
