ABSTRACT

The Planview Graphical User Interface (PGUI) is the primary display of
air traffic for the Conflict Prediction and Trial Planning, function of
the Center TRACON Automation System. The PGUI displays air traffic
information that assists the user in making decisions related to
conflict detection, conflict resolution, and traffic flow management.
The intent of this document is to outline the human factors issues
related to the design of the conflict prediction and trial planning
portions of the PGUI, document all human factors related design changes
made to the PGUI from December 1996 to September 1997, and outline
future plans for the ongoing PGUI design.
